Once again we had a great wedding. Do we ever have a bad one? Probably not (of course we would say that) But this one really was great. How often do you get a perfect place for images and a great couple. Below is some images from Tim and Gina's Wedding

Back to Portsmouth again, usually we are saying that about C-bus, Portsmouth brides seemed to have stole us away for the fall this year. This time we went to the historic downtown and got some great shots.

We headed south for a beautiful wedding at Memories Forever in Portsmouth Ohio. Kasey and Ryan sure made it this wedding easy for us. They were great and Memories Forever was beautiful as always.

Another great wedding and a couple of tips...

This wedding was shot earlier this at OSU and the McCoy center. They gave us an hour and a half with just them after the wedding for travel and pictures which turned out great, more time is always a huge plus. You can see more of the wedding on our website, click on Full Wedding.

Now for the tips. The main point we usually want to stress with our clients is time. There are several types and styles of wedding photography. Some photographers will say they only need the couple for twenty minutes or so for pictures. But this is hardly the case for quality sessions. If you think back to your senior pictures you probably spent over an hour on just yourself. So this brings the question how can you achieve excellence in 20 minutes with two people and a wedding party? To answer this questions I guess you would need to ask yourself how important is photography to you on your wedding day?

The reason we offer all day coverage is so that we are not restricting the time of which we have to offer to achieve the best of quality. If photography is something that is just a formality to your wedding and you just want some nice family photo's from the wedding, maybe the 20 minute deal is good for you. But if it is Art, Style, Variety, and Creative photography that you are wanting to hang on your walls and show off your album, then it takes time andr this does take work on your part. I once heard a great photographer say, its hard being photographed by me, but you look great. So when you are going through our website or another photographers website that you think looks so different and better than some of the other work that you have seen, just keep in mind the time and effort that the clients had to put in for that shot. Photography can be a big part of the wedding's budget, so you should take advantage of us....

We are not trying to discourage anyone from using us, but we want our clients to want best images we can provide and to give us the opportunity to do it.

Sunbury Ohio Wedding

Are you noticing a common theme with the past few weddings RAIN. Every July wedding we had rained at some point during the day. But these guys were troopers. We still took advantage of their families beautiful home and surround areas, along with the rattlesnake golf course in Sunbury Ohio.

Darby House Wedding in Columbus

We traveled to the Darby House on July 18 for this beautiful wedding. Tyler and Shannon have been awesome to work with and have already recommended us to their friends. Hope to see them at that wedding next year.

We are a little behind on posting, but we have swamped this last month. This wedding was photographed in Ironton Ohio in June. These guys have been a pleasure to work with. You couldn't ask for a better couple. Turned out some really awesome photo's at Ohio University's Southern Campus.

Headed back to our hometown for a wedding in Southern Ohio

Sorry we haven't been posting as much, but this is our busiest time of the year we have been swamped. As some of you know we are originally from Southern Ohio. Larrisa went to school with Michael and Ashley and we were very excited they chose us as there wedding photographers. We rarely do weddings for people we already know, so this was nice for a change.

Portsmouth Wedding

You couldn't ask for a better place for old buildings and great people. We headed south last weekend for a wedding in Portsmouth Ohio. This is Andrew and Tara who were great by the way. Also Tara is thinking of trashing her dress... Yippee:)

Heather's Senior Session

We had a little change of pace for once. Heather stopped in for her Senior Pictures. She graduates this year was the STAR basketball player for Piketon High School. She was also easy to get to smile. Now her being serious that was another issue...:)
